Pocket Zoo Privacy Policy
Pocket Zoo has no accounts. It does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number or location. Your zoos and progress are stored on your device and are never sent to us.
Stored on your device
Saved zoos, the species log, achievements, medals, unlocks and settings. On Android these are kept both in the WebView's storage and in the app's own folder, so a clean-up by the system does not lose your zoo. Deleting the app removes them; the game's settings can also clear them.
Advertising
The game is free and supported by Google AdMob. There are no in-app purchases. A banner sits below the game, and a rewarded interstitial plays only when you press a button asking for it.
To serve those ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and use your advertising ID, device and app information (model, OS version, app version), approximate location derived from your IP address, and your interactions with ads. We never receive that data ourselves; we see aggregated performance figures only. See how Google uses data from sites and apps that use its services. In the EEA and the UK the app shows a consent form (Google UMP) on first run, and the choice can be changed later in the app. You can reset the advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.
Network
The app talks to Google AdMob for ads, and to zoo.brokers-x.com to fetch a newer version of the game itself; as with any web request, that server's logs record the IP address and time. An internet connection is required to play: without one the zoo pauses and resumes where it left off.
Children
Pocket Zoo is not directed at a particular age group and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please write to us.
